"(As I) come to think of it, I should go too. And you should be sure to take your driver's license with you to the polls if you are heading out to vote. "생각이 난 김에 하는 말인데 나도 가야겠네. 그리고 당신도 꼭 운전면허증 가지고 가. 투표하러 투표소에 가는 거면."

원래 'as I come to think of it'에서 'as I'가 줄어들면서 'come to think of it'이 굳어진(set) 표현인데 'coming to think of it'은 사용하지 않는다. 대신 'thinking about it'을 사용할 수는 있다.

I might need a new bike. Come to think of it, this one is over five years.

"어, 새 자전거 사야겠네. 그러고 보니(생각해보니) 이건 5 년이 넘었네."

A : Was she here on Friday?

B : No, I didn't see her here Friday. [pause] Come to think of it, I have never seen her on a Friday. I think she only comes on Saturday.

"아니 금요일에 여기서는 못 봤어. 그러고 보니 금요일에는 겔 본 적이 전혀 없네. 겐 토요일에만 오는 거네."

Yeah, come to think of it, Dave was at the party, too. "맞아, 생각이 나네. 데이브도 파티에 있었네."

Come to think of it, I know someone who can help. "그런데 도와줄 수 있는 사람이 있네."

I have a screwdriver in the trunk of my car, come to think of it. "트렁크에 스크루 드라이브 있어. 그러고 보니."

He was his distant relative, as was everyone else on the island, come to think of it.

[you never know with ~]

 ~는 예측 불가능하다 : It's hard or impossible to predict someone's or something's behavior or quality

'know'는 타동사로 쓰이고 또 'know of'나 'know about'도 있지만 '알 수 없는 존재'라는 뜻으로 'never know with ~'를 사용한다.

I think Jim is supposed to be finishing up that report, but you never know with him--He could have done a bang-up job on it, or he might not have done it at all.  "나는 짐이 리포트를 끝내고 있을 거라고 추측하지만 짐은 예측이 불가능한 존재지. 그는 리포트를 멋지게 해냈을 수도 있고 아니면 전혀 하지 않았을 수도 있다."

The TV is supposed to sync up with your phone through this USB adapter, but you never know with these cheap Chinese knockoffs. "TV는 이 UBS 어댑터를 통해서 네 전화기와 동조되게 되어 있는데 뭐 이런 중국산 싸구려 복제물은 뭔 일이 일어날지 모르지."
