[해설]

['토하다'의 'throw up']

to bring food or drink up from your stomach out through your mouth because you are ill 

I feel like throwing up. "토할 거 같아."

I spent all night throwing up. "나는 밤새 토했다."

He threw up his breakfast all over the back seat of the car. 

"그는 아침 먹은 것을 차 뒷자리에 다 토했다."

She said she had thrown up after reading reports of the trial. 

"그녀는 재판 보도를 읽고서 토했다고 말했다."

When he saw the body, he threw up his lunch. 

"시체를 보고서 그는 점심 먹을 것을 토했다."

['fetch up'과 'cast up'도 토하다의 뜻으로 사용되고 영국식으로는 'bring up'(다른 뜻 많음)을 사용하기도 한다.]
