'so troubled'을 앞으로 선행시키면 수동 조동사 'was'를 'he' 앞으로 보내서 'was he'의 순서로 위치시킨다.

= ~ confessed that [he could not sleep for three nights after reading it,(comma) so troubled was he by what he saw as its ~ message].

'that he could ~' 절을 주절로 앞으로 보낼 때는 당연히 'that'은 없애고 뒤에 'comma'를 사용하고 원인에 해당되는 'so troubled ~' 절을 위치시킨다.

근거 제시의 'for'는 사용할 수 없다. 'troubled'가 홀로 앞으로 선행될 수 없다.

'too'는 물론 부정사와 연결되어야 하므로 사용할 수 없다.
