[어휘 또는 표현]

insouciant [insúːsiənt] : 태평한, 무심한  : (L sollicitare : to disturb → soucier : to worry → 현재 분사 souciant + in- : not) [불어 거쳐서 스펠링이 엉망이지만 온몸을 흔들 필요가 없는 데서, 'san'(without) 'souci'(care, worry)도 비슷한 표현이다.]

1) 잠자러 들어가다  :  to go to one's bed to sleep

I have to be up at 6 AM, so I'll need turn in early tonight. 

"6 시에 일어나야 해서 오늘 밤 일찍 들어가 자야 해.'

It's almost midnight, so it's time to turn in. "거의 자정이다. (돌아) 들어가 잘 시간이다."

6) 반납하다, 반환하다, 반품하다 : to give back (something no longer needed such as an unwanted ticket, goods, or official clothing) [다시 돌려(turn) 넣는 데서]

I went back to the station-house to turn in my badge and gun. "다시 경찰서로 가서 내 배지와 총을 반납했다."

Don't forget to turn in your gun when you leave the police force. "경찰 그만 둘 때 잊지 말고 총을 반납하세요."
