'such'는 '그와 비슷한', '~와 같은', '그런, 그러한'의 뜻으로 '부정관사 a(n)가 붙은 명사구'나 '복수 명사' 또는 '무관사 불가산 명사'와 함께 쓰인다.

He's not such a hard worker as his brother. "그는 그의 형 같은 열심히 일하는 사람이 아니다."

Tigers eat meat; such animals are dangerous. "호랑이는 육식을 한다. 그런 동물들은 위험하다."

They were fed such sumptuous fare as kings dream of.

'such'가 'a 명사', '복수 명사', '불가산 명사'와 쓰인 예이다.
