"뭐, 그래서 그건 찻잔 속의 태풍이네요"라고 엄마는 말하는데 목소리에는 약간의 장난기가 있었다. 제이스는 줄을 당기는 데서 눈을 떼어 올려 쳐다보았다. 엄마가 보닛에 한 라운드를 더 뜨개질하며 말했다. "세일 럽, 전 감방에 건포도 케이크를 가져가지 않아도 되는 게 그만큼 기뻐요."
