#1. Venice is perhaps the most unusual beachfront community in the West. Its population of around 50,000 is made up of blacks and whites and browns. 'part' 뒤에 명사가 따를 때는 무관사로 사용한다. 

The room is part sitting room, part bedroom. "방은 부분적으로 응접실이며 부분적으론 침실이다."

가산 명사지만 무관사로 사용된다.

The city is now part slum, part consumer paradise. 

"그 도시는 이제 부분적으론 슬럼이고 부분적으론 파라다이스다."

The television producer today has to be part news person, part educator. 

"그 TV 피디는 오늘 부분적으로 뉴스 캐스터이고 부분적으론 교육가여야 한다."

[문법 구조]

'excitement'와 'fear'는 양쪽형 명사이나 당연 무관사로 사용된다.
