[#2. 해석] 체격을 키우기 위해서 그는 역기 세트를 샀다. 황당하게도 로비에서 자기 방으로 장비를 나르기 위해서 두 명의 다른 학부생들에게 도움을 요청했어야 했다. 장비가 로비로 배달되었기 때문이었다.  꼼꼼한 과학도이기에 팸플릿에서 권하는 운동법을 잘 살펴보았고 프로그램에 따라 하면서 근육 강화를 가속시키기 위하여 단백질 파우더를 먹어서 보완을 했다.

'that'이 이처럼 '이유의 접속사'로 쓰일 때도 있다.
