[1920 년에 미국 영어로 생겼는데 오늘날의 방식이면 'do you have'의 어순인 것을 고대 형식인 'have you'를 (기능사 'do'를 사용하는 것은 러시아어의 영향으로 생긴 것으로 고대에서는 사용되지 않음) 명사절로 바꾸면서 'anything that'의 의미인 'what' 뒤에 그대로 붙여서 (순서 그대로) 사용하게 되었다. 우리만 이상한 게 아니고 모국어 화자도 이상하게 생각하는데 'what *you have'로 사용하지 않는다는 점을 기억해야 한다.]
